IPPC guidance for landfill sector leaves the detail for another day

Landfill operators are likely to be none the wiser following the publication of new technical guidance by the Environment Agency in December.1 The document sets out technical requirements for landfills under the integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC) regime - but leaves much of the detail to separate notes which, despite appearing as footnotes to the guidance, have yet to be issued.
