"Slim your bin" campaign yet to change consumer behaviour

The "Slim your bin" initiative to raise awareness of household waste in the Anglia region has yet to change shopping or recycling behaviour - but has led to a doubling of the number of people who say that recycling and composting are too difficult. It underlines the immense challenge facing the National Waste Awareness Initiative (NWAI), which will be launched later this year if the waste industry can stomach its £4-7 million price tag.
