IT firms and banks lack lustre on environmental reporting

Two surveys of environmental reporting have found that utility companies have the most consistent commitment to disclosure. In contrast, information technology firms and banks have been singled out for criticism for their "disengagement" from environmental issues. There are also signs of waning interest in reporting among some sectors.
