Renderers seek judicial review of odour pollution guidance

The Government is facing its first judicial review of technical guidance laying down pollution control standards for a sector of industry. On 30 March, the UK Renderers' Association (UKRA) announced that it has applied for leave to challenge the lawfulness of stringent odour controls introduced in January by the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions.
