Westminster bids for inner London low emission zone

Westminster City Council wants 20 boroughs to co-operate on a low emission zone (LEZ) covering inner and central London. The call follows a study by the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) which proposes targeting lorries, buses and taxis in a retrofitting programme costing £150-200 million. 1
