Agency attacked over endocrine disruptors strategy

A new Environment Agency strategy on endocrine disrupting substances, published in March, has drawn praise from the chemical industry but strong criticism from environmental groups. 1 The Agency has adopted a narrow definition of endocrine disruptors and excluded some key substances shown - at least in laboratory experiments - to be capable of causing effects.
