MAFF response on segregation of GM crops

The Ministry of Agriculture's response to the House of Commons Agriculture Committee's report on segregation of genetically modified foods was issued in May. 1 Not surprisingly, MAFF agreed with most of the Committee's recommendations, which included support for the voluntary guidelines for growing GM crops drawn up by SCIMAC, the agriculture and biotechnology industries' Supply Chain Initiative on Modified Agricultural Crops (ENDS Report 302, pp 35-36 ).
