Landfill gas and leachate offences lead to £35,000 fine for 3C Waste

A subsidiary of Waste Recycling Group was fined £35,000 in May for failing to comply with the licence for its Arpley landfill in Cheshire. The prosecution followed a series of substantiated complaints about odour and a failure to control leachate levels within the site.
