Little to reassure renewables, CHP sectors in Ofgem environment plan

Energy regulator Ofgem has issued proposals for an environmental action plan, offering a glimpse of the trade-offs to be made between its new consumer-protection, environmental and social duties. The paper offers little to reassure developers of renewable and combined heat and power (CHP) schemes, many of whom are concerned that they will not receive fair access to the network, and it is all but silent on the question of developing energy service companies.
