New dioxin data shift focus toward PCB exposure

People's intakes of dioxins from food have declined by about 25% since 1992, according to a study by the Food Standards Agency (FSA). 1 But exposures to PCBs, which have similar toxic effects, have not declined and are now as significant as for dioxins.
