Agency considers NO<SUB>x</SUB> trading scheme for generators
An emissions trading scheme for coal- and oil-fired power stations is being considered by the Environment Agency. A decision is expected next year on whether to proceed with a scheme for nitrogen oxides - though EC legal constraints may stand in the way.
