Waste inquiry focuses on future role of incineration
Disagreements about the "correct" proportion of municipal waste that should be incinerated, recycled or composted have dominated an inquiry into sustainable waste management by the House of Commons Environment Committee. Meanwhile, the Treasury has confirmed it wants the landfill tax credits scheme to do more to boost recycling.
