Waterborne crypto comes from sewage, studies show

New scientific evidence on the water bug crypto-sporidium suggests that water company operations may be helping to spread the disease it causes via drinking water. The Public Health Laboratory Service (PHLS) has found that most waterborne outbreaks are related to sewage sources such as effluents discharged into water supply rivers. The findings are likely to increase the pressure for more advanced sewage and water treatment.
