FGD and Orimulsion planned for Northern Irish power station

Nigen, one of Northern Ireland's two main electricity generators, has confirmed plans to burn Orimulsion at its Kilroot power station. The generator also intends to fit flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) equipment to the station, as revealed by ENDS last year (ENDS Report 280, p 7 ).
