Mix of measures proposed for fluorinated greenhouse gases

Reductions in emissions of the greenhouse gases HFCs, PFCs and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) should be sought through a mixture of voluntary agreements with end users, end-use emission regulations and possibly sectoral product taxes, according to a report for the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR).1
