Honda pulls advert for "green" New Accord

An investigation into an advertisement for Honda's New Accord passenger car has been dropped by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) after Honda's advertising agency informed it that the company had withdrawn the advertisement. The company had exaggerated the vehicle's recyclability and made a misleading claim about its carbon dioxide emissions (ENDS Report 286, pp 24-25 ).
