Shell performs U-turn on ultra-low sulphur diesel

Shell has announced plans to sell ultra-low sulphur diesel (ULSD) at all of its service stations by April - and to phase out conventional diesel by the same date. The company had previously argued that marketing of the fuel should be aimed at fleet operators in urban areas. Other oil majors are likely to follow Shell's lead in the near future.
