Vandals land developer in court

Morrison Developments has been fined £8,000 with costs of £665 for allowing oil to pollute the river Tame. In November 1997, oil leaked into the river after vandals tampered with a valve. The Environment Agency argued that the company had left a large volume of potentially polluting material open to attack.
