Banks struggle on environment in decision making

Banks are beginning to take environmental issues more seriously, according to a survey of financial institutions participating in a UN Environment Programme (UNEP) scheme. But only 60% of respondents said they consider environmental issues when making credit decisions - despite commitments to do so under the initiative.
