Lords inquiry hears of "vacuum" in renewable energy policy

Repeated delays in the Government's review of renewable energy policy are threatening attainment of its target, according to evidence given to a House of Lords inquiry in February. The Government was accused of ignoring renewable sources in its proposals for reforming the electricity trading market - and was urged to reform the planning process to help wind farm developers.
