Castle Cement fined £6,000 for persistent dust releases

Persistent fugitive dust emissions from Castle Cement's Padeswood works in North Wales have landed the company with a £6,000 fine. However, the Environment Agency dropped a more serious charge which alleged that Castle had failed to comply with an enforcement notice.
