Reusable nappies get leg up from Waste Minimisation Act

Efforts to promote reusable nappies appear to have been boosted by legislation enacted last year which gave local authorities powers to support waste reduction initiatives. Councils are now beginning to subsidise local reusable nappy companies which offer cleaning services to local residents and post-natal wards in hospitals.
