Sludge incineration plans provoke complaint to Brussels
Two environmental groups are to complain to the European Commission about plans to incinerate Scotland's sewage sludge at coal-fired power stations. The move follows an announcement by East of Scotland Water (ESW) that sludge from Levenmouth will be burned by Scottish Power.
