EC policy on products, chemicals gets push from Ministers

The development of an EC "integrated product policy" (IPP) was taken a stage further at the informal Environment Council in Weimar on 7-9 May. Components for possible inclusion in a forthcoming Green Paper on IPP were outlined by Ministers. The meeting also prepared the ground for further discussion of the reform of EC chemicals policy.
