Report makes bold claims for tradable permits for WEEE recovery
Market mechanisms such as tradable certificates could achieve the environmental objectives of draft EC legislative proposals on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) at "minimum cost", according to a report for the European Commission's Industry Directorate, DGIII, by consultants ERM.
