Serious pollution incidents at lowest in decade

Serious water pollution incidents in England and Wales reached their lowest level in the 1990s last year, according to an annual report from the Environment Agency. 1 Total incidents also declined. But the rising importance of oil pollution has led the Agency to call for action on long-promised regulations on oil storage.
