Tarmac's £10,000 fine for cement dust emissions

Tarmac Topmix has been fined £10,000 for three breaches of a local air pollution control authorisation at a cement store in London. The London Borough of Camden originally brought 20 charges against the company - but most were dropped when it emerged that many incidents arose from release points not covered specifically by the authorisation.
