M&S "first" to remove GMOs from animal feed

Marks & Spencer has claimed to be the first high street retailer to start removing genetically modified soya and maize ingredients from animal feed - in response, the company says, to customers being "uncertain about the pace of introduction of GMOs." In July the company claimed it was the only high street retailer whose entire food range was made without GM soya or maize ingredients or derivatives.
