Radwaste response hints at U-turn on BNFL's overseas waste

Environmental groups have attacked the Government for reopening its policy on the return of radioactive wastes from reprocessing of foreign nuclear fuel - claiming that the move is an attempt to smooth the partial privatisation of British Nuclear Fuels (BNFL). The Government intends to launch a wide-ranging consultation on radioactive waste management early next year.
