Massive hormone screening exercise proposed by USA

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) looks set to screen some 15,000 industrial chemicals for hormone-disrupting effects, following recommendations by an advisory committee. But the proposal has received only muted support in Europe, as international efforts to agree tests are advancing within the OECD.
