Agency and generators in bust-up on power station emissions

The Environment Agency has clashed with the major power generators over the cost and practicality of tighter emission limits on coal-fired power stations - and on the likely impact on the UK coal industry. The generators have told a parliamentary inquiry that they are likely to appeal or seek a judicial review if the proposed limits are implemented.
