SEPA wins appeal over odour control conditions
The legal validity of a key condition used by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) in an attempt to control odour emissions from a rapeseed oil factory has been upheld by the High Court. The ruling is of wider significance throughout Britain for authorities seeking to control odour releases from processes regulated under Part I of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
