Changes in recycling credits, funding of waste services

The "recycling credits" payable by waste disposal to waste collection authorities for waste removed for recycling have been given their annual uprating.1 The Government has also announced plans to change the funding of disposal services in London, Manchester and Merseyside so as to encourage councils to promote waste minimisation and recovery.
