Kent recycling mills to burn residues as fuel

The Environment Agency has authorised PowerGen CHP to burn waste from paper recycling at its combined heat and power plant in Kemsley, Kent. The new plant offers an alternative for UK Paper and St Regis Paper to the current practice of spreading thousands of tonnes of sludge on agricultural land.
