Belated revision to IPC guides for organic chemicals processes

New draft guidance on the standards expected of organic chemicals processes under integrated pollution control has been issued by the Environment Agency. 1 The drafts have arrived at a late stage in the Agency's four-yearly review of authorisations in the sector - and, apart from a brief exploration of the industry's economic health, offer little advance on the original, highly generalised guidance.
