Court hears of persistent smoke emissions from rogue incinerator

The operator of a clinical waste incinerator in Cambridgeshire has been prosecuted successfully - but only after the plant had spewed out black smoke and burning smells on numerous occasions for more than a year. The company was run by the father of a man jailed for systematic clinical waste dumping last year.
