Agency previews eutrophication strategy

After years of little official action on eutrophication, the Environment Agency has given a sneak preview of its plans for a strategy to halt the progressive enrichment of surface waters. Its thinking was revealed at a conference on diffuse pollution which heard results from the latest research on phosphate and nitrate pollution from farms.
