HFC refrigerants lose ground as Iceland announces phase-out

The electrical and frozen food retailer Iceland has announced plans to eliminate HFCs, the potent greenhouse gases, throughout its business. It has also launched a new "Kyoto" range of hydrocarbon fridges, with support from Greenpeace.
