Pilkington states case for low emissivity glass

Glass manufacturer Pilkington is lobbying for changes to the Building Regulations to make low emissivity (low E) glass mandatory in new buildings. In a joint report with the Green Alliance, the company claims that replacing all single-glazed windows in the UK would contribute 7% of the UK's target for carbon dioxide emissions and save £638 million in energy bills. 1
