Health study spotlights mercury emissions from crematoria

Crematorium staff have mercury levels in their bodies that are almost twice as high as normal, a new study has found. 1 It ascribes the elevated levels to exposure to mercury vapours, probably from dental amalgam, and recommends better emission monitoring and controls.
