New waste levy suspended, review for recycling credits

Plans to introduce a new waste disposal levy in Manchester, Liverpool and parts of London next April have been put on hold while a review of the recycling credits scheme is carried out, according to a parliamentary answer from junior Environment Minister Alan Meale. ¹
