Swedes sound the alarm over PCB-contaminated buildings

A Swedish study has uncovered high levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) around buildings in which sealants containing the chemicals were used 20-40 years ago. Although similar sealants were widely used in the UK, no research or monitoring has been carried out.
