Energy Saving Trust boost for alternative fuel vehicles
Over 300 new vehicles fuelled by compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or electricity will be brought onto the UK's roads as a result of a £20 million partnership between the Energy Saving Trust (EST), local authorities and operators of vehicle fleets. The scheme is a key step in the Trust's strategy to kick-start a sustainable market for alternative-fuelled vehicles.
