Study links surfing to hepatitis infection
Surfers are three times more likely than non-surfers to contract hepatitis A, according to new research to be published shortly. The findings, which add to the debate over the adequacy of bathing water standards for protecting public health, could lead to an increasing number of damages claims against water companies.
