British Waterways fined £30,000 for another abstraction offence
British Waterways has been fined a total of £30,000 for ten abstraction offences after ignoring warnings that it was exceeding its licence limits. The conviction is the Board's second in recent months arising from inadequate management of its abstraction licences.
