NRA claims success with phase-out of oestrogenic detergents
Measures to be implemented by the wool scouring industry under integrated pollution control (IPC) by the end of 1996 will result in the phase-out of discharges of the oestrogenic chemicals alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs), according to the National Rivers Authority (NRA).
