Row over paper recycling adds to fears of LCA abuse
An argument has broken out over whether recycling or incineration of waste paper is the better environmental option, particularly regarding the contribution to global warming. The British Newsprint Manufacturers Association (BNMA) has mounted a vigorous defence of recycling - but has refused to make public a life-cycle assessment (LCA) study it has used to back its claims.
