South West Water under fire over crypto shortcomings

A report into last year's outbreak of the waterborne illness cryptosporidiosis in the Torbay area has revealed that poor siting of South West Water's monitoring equipment may have allowed contamination to enter the water supply. The Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) is now considering whether the company should be prosecuted.
