MPs pull punches over nuclear privatisation

The House of Commons Trade and Industry Committee has failed to give a view over the likely proceeds from the imminent privatisation of the nuclear industry, and has dropped its two most radical draft recommendations.1 But its call for all liabilities to follow the associated assets and for full financial provision to be made for future liabilities may yet rock the boat for the flotation.
