Eutrophication threat from agricultural sources

Studies by the Department of Agriculture for Northern Ireland (DANI) suggest that many water bodies in the UK are under threat from increasing phosphorus inputs from agriculture. The findings lend a hollow ring to the Government's continuing claims that most UK waters are free from eutrophication.
